Sammy Watkins, Clemson, 6-1, 211
Many think he’s the best wide receiver to come out of college since Julio Jones and A.J. Green in 2011.
Mike Evans, Texas A&M, 6-5, 231
Hands, speed, and leadership: the big WR that everyone’s looking for these days in the NFL.
Rams’ needs: All five main wide receivers from 2013 return: Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, Chris Givens, Austin Pettis and Brian Quick. The team also added former Tennessee Titan Kenny Britt in free agency. However, there is no clear-cut No. 1 wideout in the group, which is why the thought of Sammy Watkins or Mike Evans in a Rams uniform is enticing.
